Power Lifting Blocks

The blocks in the pictures below were recently completed for Pinnacle Weightlifting Club of Colorado Springs. Pinnacle provides weightlifting training to amateur, professional and Olympic athletes.

The small blocks support the weights used during the Snatch technique while the larger ones are used for the Jerk technique. The blocks are glue-laminated and have threaded rods for additional strength. Hand gripping areas are machined into the side to facilitate easy lifting. Dowel pins make aligning the blocks easier when rearranging the blocks for different heights and also prevent the blocks from shifting.
