Split Turned Vase

This elegant split turned vase makes a wonderful table accent or place to put your favorite dried flowers. Made from laminated oak, 4 square blanks are temporarily glued together to turn (what will become) the inside profile first. The segments are separated, turned 180° and permanently glued for turning of the outside profile. This approach creates a unique hollow inside with spear-shaped windows...
