People see the
word "Landscape" in my business name and immediately
(and to a certain extent justifiably come to the
conclusion that I am a "landscaper". Yes, I have
done a myriad of landscaping but my business is all
about woodworking for the landscape. When the time
came to redesign my web site I wanted my own set of
custom drawings that would help illustrate that I am
a woodworker and not a landscaper...

My wife bought
a hammock for my daughter during a cruise to the
Caribbean. Back in New Hampshire it would have been
easy to hang; just throw a couple screw eyes in 2
large oak trees and swing away. Yea, right,
wishful thinking in Peyton, Colorado. So, I decided
to build my daughter a hammock arbor...

Long Time Coming...

I remember when
I was growing up I had that feeling in being
invincible, almost immortal. Heck, I was in my teens
and nothing could stop me. I was flying around up to
5 or 6 stories of pipe staging, crawling around
roofs and jumping off the last 4 or 5 rungs of the
ladder to save a few seconds...

This All About...

Well, as the
name implies this is my blog and it is largely about
woodworking. I use the word "largely" because
I may post about safety issues or products for
safety, a new tool I recently bought or perhaps an
old one that I am restoring and want to publish
hard-to-find resources for others. Regardless, this
is something I have wanted to do for some time now
